From Casa Ramiz, you can see frequently birds of prey like the Red and Black Kite, Short toed Eagle, also vultures like the Griffon Vulture, the Egyptian Vulture and the more rare Lammergeier.
In the valley of the house, you can observe each day of the summer the very noisy and colourful Bee-eaters and during the night, it’s not un-common to hear different species of owls and other night birds. From time to time, you can encounter also wild boars.
In spring, there is an abundance of wildflowers and flowering plants, while in autumn, it’s mainly the beautifully colour-changing leaves of the Oaks, Maples, Aspen and Beeches that are catching the eye, predominantly in the lower mountain valleys.
A visit to the National Park of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido is an absolute must. A visit to the valleys of the “Pineta”, “Ordesa” and “Añisclo” will be unforgettable experiences. All are located less than 1 hour drive from Casa Ramiz.
